The team at Natural Evolution would like to take this opportunity to thank you for being part of our extended family and evolving naturally with us.
Over the last few months there has been several evolutionary leaps at Natural Evolution. Our life changing Green Banana Resistant Starch Multi-Fibre became a complimentary medicine and listed with the TGA. This is wonderful news and reassuring confidence for functional food.
As many of you know we have felt very disheartened and concerned regarding some of the certified organic provisions. We have found some certified organic products failing basic food standards and labelling stating “Australian” often misleading consumers who turn over the packaging and find the product originating in a different country. Many of our primary producing friends and associates have had the same issues and concerns. Natural Evolution did not want to be associated with misleading consumers, or a standard that had little food practice regulation. We are proud at Natural Evolution to operate to the highest national and international food standards and accreditations. We are Local Government Food compliant, HACCP International compliant, NON-GMO compliant, and Japanese Pharmaceutical compliant. Having three generations of natural, organic and biodynamic farmers we truly understand what it means to grow healthy, nutritious produce to nourish the world, all the while nurturing the land in which we live and operate. For many years we have known we were better than the “standards” as we operate above and beyond the requirements as well as having world class food quality standards.
This week we have become certified to the Australia Government National Organic and Biodynamic Standards for both growing and processing. We pursued an independent accredited inspector to evaluate our business from the growing (paddocks) all the way through to production based on these international standards. We are delighted to inform you that we passed with flying colours!
Currently we are working with our providers to build an online directory via our website that includes National Organic and Biodynamic Standards and all of the best Food Processing standards that we voluntarily participate in.
January 2018 will see our products begin to roll out with our new organic certification on the front of packaging. Although you may have packaging without the indicator please know that it has been grown and produced in the same way that the new labelled certified products have.
